Meganne
Every week I vist our local general auction, occasionally they have cars for sale. On this particular occasion in march, They had a bright orange Renault Meganne, It looked sporty and I was sort of after a track car.
Doing a quick bit of research it seemed to be a Sport 225, worth a good punt as they can make decent money… I won it for my top bid and collected a day later.
1st thing I notices was a strage click from under the dash, this is the recirculation flap motor. Apparently a pain to get to.
2nd thing after unloading from the trailer and taking it for a quick spin, was that the gear selection was appauling. I have not fully investigate but bought a spare selector system.
3rd thing is the airbag light is on, can be as simple as loose wires under the seat.
Not looked at it yet…
