I had fortunately, got a “jumper” battery sitting in the boot, I hopped out (avoiding bemused drivers) and closed the drivers door, and went to open the boot. The electric release did not work! I went back to retrive the key from the ignition only to find the central locking (which had been playing up) had locked the drivers door!!

I had to abandon the car, run back round the corner, get the spare key, unlock the boot, connect the jumper, unlock the door and start the car!

I made it to my colleagues on time, and the “DR” test turned to crap, but I get paid for that anyway!!

She cut out again last night but has done 4 further trips without issues.
