I have only driven Rebecca about 80 miles so far and each time has been nerve wracking, the engine temperature did not seem to be under control. Even with a lower thermostat and hte electric fan running all the time the temps could get over 100c
I thought the best option would be to fit a better radiator so I ordered a Coolex 55mm core Capri rad . It was not cheap at £270 but will hopefully do the job.
I had to tap down two foleded ridges on the floorpan in the engine bay to get it to sit low enough, and had to elongate the top mounting holes but eventualy she went in. the engine driven fan had to be ditched as there was no space, but the rad came with a pusher electric. even that had to be removed from the rad and placed infront of the suspension crossmember in place of the old electric one (shown )
